RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND DEDICATING CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY AS PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY IN SECTION 15-88N-12W IN
CONJUNCTION WITH FY 1988 LEATHER PROCESSOR ACCESS ROAD,
CONTRACT NO. 343 , CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY,
IOWA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, that the following legally described real property be and
the same hereby accepted and dedicated as public right-of-way in
the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, in conjunction with
the FY 1988 Leather Processor Access Road, Contract No. 343 :
All that part of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of
Section 15 , Township 89 North, Range 12 West of the Fifth
Principal Meridian, Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point on the West line of the Southwest 1/4 of
said Section 15 , which point is 513 . 81 feet north of the
Southwest corner of said Section 15; thence North 00°O1 ' 05"
West along the West line of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section
15 a distance of 72. 00 feet; thence North 89°22 ' 40" East
parallel with the South line of the Southwest 1/4 of said
Section 15 a distance of 180. 64 feet; thence South 86°48 ' 29"
East a distance of 180 . 40 feet; thence North 89°22 ' 40" East
540 . 00 feet; thence North 72°40 ' 43" East a distance of 104 . 40
feet; thence North 89°22 ' 40" East a distance of 150 . 00 feet;
thence South 79°10 ' 33" East a distance of 153 . 04 feet; thence
North 89°22 ' 40" East a distance of 26 . 24 feet to the East
line of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of said
Section 15; thence South 00°02 ' 00" East along the East line
of the Southwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 15
a distance of 66 . 00 feet; thence South 80°09 ' 52" West a
distance of 276 . 32 feet; thence North 83°06 ' 31" West a
distance of 386 . 50 feet; thence South 89°22 ' 40" West parallel
with the South line of the Southwest 1/4 of said Section 15 a
distance of 671. 11 feet to the point of beginning.
Excepting therefrom the presently established right-of-way of
Elk Run Road.
Bearings are based on the assumption the South line of the
Southwest 1/4 of said Section 15 bears North 89°22 ' 40" East.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of June, 1988 .
