s p N RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SPECIAL PERMIT REQUEST OF MET
H ' r TRANSIT TO REDEVELOP THE SITE OF THE EXISTING TRANSIT
`itVi TRANSFER STATION ON THE SOUTHWESTERLY SIDE OF SYCAMORE
° STREET BETWEEN EAST PARK AVENUE AND EAST THIRD STREET.

WHEREAS, MET Transit has proposed that the Council of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a special permit request for MET
Transit to redevelop the site of the existing transit transfer
station on the southwesterly side of Sycamore Street between East
Park Avenue and East Third Street.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 27, 1988 , at 7 : 00
p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by
law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the proposal
to approve said above mentioned special permit request, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said special
permit request should be approved as proposed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the special permit request for MET
Transit to redevelop the site of the existing transit transfer
station on the southwesterly side of Sycamore Street between East
Park Avenue and East Third Street, be and the same is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of June, 1988 , and approved
by the Mayor this 29th day of June, 1988.
