_ ,. STUBER, DBA S & M ENGINES FOR A PROPOSED SALVAGE YARD,
LOCATED ALONG THE EAST SIDE OF BURTON AVENUE AND SOUTH
• ` OF EAST AIRLINE HIGHWAY.

WHEREAS, Gary Stuber, dba S & M Engines has proposed that the
Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a special permit
request for a proposed salvage yard to be generally located along
the east side of Burton Avenue and south of East Airline Highway, and
legally described as follows:
Lot 2 of East Burton Industrial Park, City of Waterloo, Black
Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 27 , 1988 , at 7: 00
p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by
law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the proposal
to approve said above mentioned special permit request, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said special
permit request should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the special permit request for Gary
Stuber, dba S & M Engines for a proposed salvage yard to be
generally located along the east side of Burton Avenue and south
of East Airline Highway, be and the same is hereby approved,
subject to Mr. Stuber buying the entire tract owned by Cedar Falls
Trust and Savings Bank or Cedar Falls Trust and Savings Bank
subdividing the entire tract.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 27th day of June, 1988 , and approved
by the Mayor this 29th day of June, 1988 .
