NOTICE TO BE GIVEN ON THE VACATION, SALE AND CONVEYANCE
OF THE EAST-WEST ALLEY TO THE WEST OF BISHOP AVENUE, 160
FEET SOUTH OF INDEPENDENCE AVENUE AS AUGUST 8 , 1988 , AT

AND INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH THE NOTICE OF

" M BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . That the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa
shall meet at City Hall Council Chambers in the City of Waterloo,
Iowa at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 8th day of August, 1988 , for the purpose
of considering and acting upon a proposal to vacate, sell and
convey the east-west alley to the west of Bishop Avenue, 160 feet
south of Independence Avenue owned by the City of Waterloo, Iowa,
to Floyd and Grace Thompson, and legally described as follows:
The 17 foot wide alley lying south of Lots 1 and 2 and north
of Lot 4 , Roth Park Camp, Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
Section 2 . That the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of July, 1988 .
