WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 7: 00 p.m. on the 15th day of August, 1988 , for
the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
Max Guernsey to rezone from "R-3" Multiple Family Residence
District to "C-2" Commercial District/"C-Z" Conditional Zoning a
parcel of land generally located on the south side of Alabar
Avenue and east of Linbud Lane and legally described as follows:
Commencing at a point 30 . 06 feet North of the NW corner of
the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 28 , Township 89 North,
tl Range 13 West of the Fifth P.M. , in Black Hawk County, Iowa,
.T, , thence North 286 . 29 feet; thence East 305 feet; thence South
! !' 286 . 29 feet; thence West 303 . 8 feet to the place of
beginning, containing two acres more or less, all lying and
situated in the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section No. 21 ,
Township 89 North, Range 13 West of the 5th P.M. , excepting
all legal highways, in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of July, 1988 .
