H RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MINOR SITE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR
ROSTECK JEWELRY, SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS, LOCATED AT 1137

- WHEREAS, Rosteck Jewelry has proposed that the Council of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a minor site plan amendment for
m property located at 1137 Dundee Avenue and legally described as
follows:

trl El Lots 9 and 10, Block 23 , Hagerman Place, Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa.

WHEREAS, a public hearing was held August 8 , 1988 , at 7 : 00
p.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided by
law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the proposal
to approve said above mentioned minor site plan amendment to
construct a new 1, 196 square foot building with a new concrete
drive and 1, 680 square foot parking lot be constructed on the
site, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said minor
site plan amendment should be approved as proposed subject to the
following conditions:
1 . The new parking lot be hard-surfaced.
2 . A solid fence not to exceed eight ( 8) feet or less than
six ( 6 ) feet in height shall be located in the side yard
area along the north property line.
3 . A drainage plan for the site based on the proposed
changes be submitted to and approved by the City
Engineer' s Office prior to development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the minor site plan amendment for
Rosteck Jewelry to construct a new 1, 196 square foot building with
a new concrete drive and 1 , 680 square foot parking lot on the
site, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of August, 1988, and approved
by the Mayor Pro Tem on this 10th day of August, 1988.
