C n RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
T IOWA, AS THE WATERLOO HOUSING AUTHORITY, ESTABLISHING
t-^ - THE EQUAL OPPORTUNITY HOUSING PLAN FOR THE WATERLOO
'" SECTION 8 HOUSING PROGRAM' S IA05-E050-001/9 AND
E-i IA05-V050-001/8 .

, WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
has published new regulations that affect preferences given
applicants and income requirements; and
WHEREAS, the Equal Opportunity Housing Plan is being amended
to comply with the new HUD regulations; and
WHEREAS, the Equal Opportunity Housing Plan currently in use
for the Section 8 Existing Housing Project Certificate and Housing
Vouchers is hereby amended; and
WHEREAS, the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban
Development requires that the Equal Opportunity Housing Plan be
submitted to HUD for approval after approval of the Waterloo
Housing Authority.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, as the Waterloo Housing Authority, that
they establish the attached Equal Opportunity Housing for the
Section 8 Existing Housing Project IA05-E050-001/9 ,
IA05-V050-001/8 and any subsequent project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of September, 1988 , approved
by the Mayor this 8th day of September, 1988 .
