RESOLUTION NO. 1988-516 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONDEMNATION OF CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY FOR THE ANSBOROUGH AVENUE SUBSTITUTION PROJECT ( IX-6615 ( 5 ) --79-07 ) . WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa has undertaken the Ansborough Avenue Substitution Project and the parcels of land hereinafter described have been appraised and an offer made to the owners of said property in the amount of the appraised value and said offer has been refused and funds are available with which to pay for said parcels from City funds; and WHEREAS, the acquisition, by Fee Simple Title of the hereinafter described real properties are necessary in connection with the said Ansborough Avenue Substitution Project, IX-6615 ( 5 ) --79-07 . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the following described parcels of real property be acquired by condemnation in the manner provided by law, and such other further action as may be necessary to effect acquisition: Parcel No. 1 - Partial Acquisition Continental Baking Co. , Owner The East 10 feet of the West 44 feet of Lots Nos. Eight ( 8 ) , Nine ( 9 ) , and Ten ( 10 ) in Block No. Twenty-four ( 24 ) in Hagerman Place in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa. Parcel No. 21 - Total Acquisition Joe Katz Trust, Owner All of Lot Nos. Ten ( 10 ) and Eleven ( 11) in Block No. Eight ( 8 ) in Hagerman Place in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
