RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MINOR SITE PLAN AMENDMENT FOR
PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED EAST OF LINBUD LANE AND SOUTH
OF ALABAR AVENUE FOR PROPOSED OFFICE SITE, IN THE CITY
OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, Jim Blackledge has proposed that the Council of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a minor site plan amendment for
two proposed buildings with a combined area of 16 ,780 square feet,
and 84 parking spaces for property located east of Linbud Lane and
south of Alabar Avenue, and legally described as follows:
Commencing at a point 30 . 06 feet North of the NW corner of
the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 28 , Township 89 North,
Range 13 West of the Fifth P.M. , in Black Hawk County, Iowa,
thence North 286 . 29 feet; thence East 305 feet; thence South
286 . 29 feet; thence West 303 . 8 feet to the place of
beginning, containing two acres more or less, all lying and
situated in the SW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section No. 21 ,
Township 89 North, Range 13 West of the 5th P.M. , excepting
all legal highways, in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa;
and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was waived by the City Council due
to the insignificance of the nature of said mentioned minor site
plan amendment; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said minor
site plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the minor site plan amendment for two
proposed buildings with a combined area of 16 ,780 square feet, and
84 parking spaces for property located east of Linbud Lane and
south of Alabar Avenue, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of September, 1988 , and
approved by the Mayor this 28th day of September, 1988 .
