RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SITE PLAN AMENDMENT REQUEST OF
JIM LIND STANDARD FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 230 E.
RIDGEWAY AVENUE FOR AN ADDITIONAL GAS PUMP ISLAND AND
LARGER CANOPY TO THE EAST SIDE OF EXISTING BUILDING, IN
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, Jim Lind Standard has proposed that the Council of
the City of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment for
property located at 230 E. Ridgeway Avenue for an additional gas
pump island and larger canopy to the east side of existing
building, and legally described as follows :
Unplatted Waterloo West
That part of the Northwest fractional quarter of Section 3 ,
T88 , R13 commencing at intersections south line of Ridgeway
Avenue and west line of Edgemont Avenue, thence south along
west line of Edgemont Avenue a distance of 200 feet, thence
west 45 feet, thence south 30 feet, thence west 115 feet,
thence north 230 feet to the south line of Ridgeway Avenue,
thence east to the point of beginning, all in the City of
Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was waived by the Council of the
City of Waterloo, Iowa, due to the insignificance of the nature of
said above mentioned site plan amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the site plan amendment for Jim Lind
Standard for property located at 230 E. Ridgeway Avenue for an
additional gas pump island and larger canopy to the east side of
the existing building, be and the same is hereby approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of October, 1988 , and
approved by the Mayor this 12th day of October, 1988 .
