RESOLUTION NO. 2024-645
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE COMPLETION OF
PROJECT AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF
WORK PERFORMED BY WRH, INC., OF AMANA, IOWA,
FOR THE FY 2023 WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT
FINAL CLARIFIER NO. 3 REHABILITATION PROJECT,
CONTRACT NO. 1067, AND RECEIVING AND FILING A
TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, WRH, Inc., based in Amana, Iowa, has satisfactorily completed the work on
the FY 2023 Wastewater Treatment Plant Final Clarifier No. 3 Rehabilitation Project in
accordance with the contract terms and project specifications; and
WHEREAS, the total cost of work performed under Contract No. 1067 amounts
to $1,016,870.89 ; and
WHEREAS, the City staff and project engineers have evaluated the work performed and
recommend the project for acceptance; and
WHEREAS, upon completion of the project, WRH, Inc., has provided a two-year
maintenance bond guaranteeing the quality of workmanship and materials furnished.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. Completion of the FY 2023 Wastewater Treatment Plant Final Clarifier No. 3
Rehabilitation Project by WRH, Inc., is hereby approved, and the work is accepted as
satisfactorily completed.
2. The two-year maintenance bond provided by WRH, Inc., is hereby received and filed
in official City records.
3. The Mayor is authorized to execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo.
4. This resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
