RESOLUTION NO. 2024-646
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE COMPLETION OF
PROJECT AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF
WORK PERFORMED BY LANDMARK TURF SERVICES,
LLC, OF DUNKERTON, IOWA, FOR THE FY 2025 LEVEE RIP
RAP SPRAYING, CONTRACT NO. 1104, AND RECEIVING
AND FILING A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, Landmark Turf Services, LLC, located in Dunkerton, Iowa, has
satisfactorily completed the work for the FY 2025 Levee Rip Rap Spraying project in
compliance with the contractual obligations and project specifications outlined in Contract No.
1104; and
WHEREAS, the total expenditure for the services rendered by Landmark Turf Services,
LLC amounted to $53,664.00; and
WHEREAS, project engineers have evaluated the work performed and recommend the
project for acceptance; and
WHEREAS, Landmark Turf Services, LLC has provided a two-year maintenance bond
ensuring the quality of the workmanship and materials used in the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. Completion of the FY 2025 Levee Rip Rap Spraying project by Landmark Turf
Services, LLC is officially approved, and the work is accepted as complete.
2. The two-year maintenance bond provided by Landmark Turf Services, LLC is received
and filed within the City's official records.
3. The Mayor is authorized to execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo.
4. This resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
