E-1 s ; ` 0 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND APPROVING CERTAIN ACQUISITION 6 H CONTRACT TO SELL REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY AND ACCEPTING o n ; n AND APPROVING CERTAIN DEED. . r- ti WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has had all of the parcel described herein appraised and the fair market value ascertained, and -2 , WHEREAS, the acquisition of the hereinafter described parcel is necessary to carry out the Crossroads Drainage Improvements Project, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the contract for the parcel hereinafter described to sell the same to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, all of which is situated in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa, is accepted and approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute the same in behalf of the City and to execute all instruments necessary to consummate the agreement to purchase the property from the owner thereof, and the deed for the conveyance of the same is also accepted and approved and the City of Waterloo is directed to pay for the property and the incidental expenses necessary to the consummation of the sale from City funds. k E-i The subject parcel is: :-- Parcel No. 1--Partial Acquisition United Concrete, Inc. , Owner The South One Hundred ( 100 ) feet of the following: Unplatted Waterloo West Part SW 1/4 SW 1/4 Sec 2 T88 R13 commencing at the Southwest Corner said Sec 2 thence due East 1317 . 85 feet along the South line of Sec 2 to the Southeast Corner of the SW 1/4 SW 1/4 Sec 2 thence North along East line SW 1/4 SW 1/4 a distance of 33 ' to the point of beginning, thence continuing North along said East line a distance of 710 . 7 ' thence South 48 deg 48 min West 266 . 9 Feet thence South 00 Deg 17-1/2 min West 534 . 9 Feet thence South 90 deg 00 min East 200 feet to the point of beginning; for $33 , 600 . 00 .
