RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ASSIGNMENT AND COMPROMISE OF
TAXES FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 211 LINN STREET IN THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA.
WHEREAS, an offer has been received by Black Hawk County to
purchase real property commonly known as 211 Linn Street, 1987 Tax
Sale Certificates No. 180 ( $585 . 60 ) and No. 181 ( $2,952. 31) ,
Parcel Code Nos. 92-0083-00-018-01-0 and 92-0083-00-018-02-0, and
adjacent parking lot by Greg Bagsby and Alberta Morehead, and
WHEREAS, said offer is in the amount of $500 . 00 including
compromises on all taxes against said properties, and
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo and all taxing jurisdictions
must approve the assignment and compromise of taxes against all
properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that the offer of $500.00 be and the same
hereby approved as presented by Greg Bagsby and Alberta Morehead
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the amount left after
apportioning, or $265. 36 , be and the same hereby apportioned among
the taxing districts.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of November, 1988 .
