RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR A SALARY AND
CLASSIFICATION STUDY OF NON-BARGAINING CITY EMPLOYEES.
WHEREAS, the City solicited proposals from consultants to
complete a salary and classification study of City employees not
represented by a collective bargaining unit, and
WHEREAS, a management team reviewed the proposals received
and narrowed the number of applicants to three firms, and
WHEREAS, an interview committee interviewed representatives
of the three firms , and
WHEREAS, based on the onsite interview, written proposal and
analysis of the proposed cost for the study.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY, IOWA, that the proposal of Waters ,
Inc. of Dallas, Texas at a cost not to exceed $19 , 100 . 00 , be and
the same hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the cost for said study be paid
from the Mayor/Council contingency fund located in the
Clerk/Auditor ' s budget.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 28th day of November, 1988 .
