E.. WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 7 : 00 p.m. on the 9th day of January, 1989 , for
the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of
Francis Dilley to rezone from "A-1" Agricultural District to "M-1"
Light Industrial District a parcel of land generally located
at 1100 Bishop Avenue approximately 1/4 mile south of Independence
Avenue and legally described as follows:
O y That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter
• of Section No. Twenty-nine ( 29 ) , Township No. Eight-nine
' 0 ( 89 ) , Range No. Twelve ( 12 ) West of the Fifth Principal
Meridian in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa,
described as follows:
• Beginning at a point on the North line of the South One ( 1)
Acre of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter of said Section which is Twenty-five ( 25 )
feet East of the West line of said Southeast Quarter; thence
East along said North line Three Hundred ( 300 ) feet; thence
South parallel with said West line One Hundred Forty ( 140 )
feet; thence West parallel with said North line One Hundred
Seventy-five ( 175 ) feet; thence North parallel with said West
line Sixty-five ( 65 ) feet; thence West parallel with said
North line One Hundred Twenty-five ( 125 ) feet; thence North
to the point of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of December, 1988 .
