RESOLUTION NO. 2024-701
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH INVISION
ARCHITECTURE, LLC, OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
ORIGINALLY EXECUTED ON JUNE 20, 2022, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $1,830.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY
2024 BYRNES AQUATIC CENTER PROJECT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo previously entered into a Professional Services
Agreement with 1NVISION Architecture, LLC, on June 20, 2022, to provide architectural
services for the FY 2024 Byrnes Aquatic Center Project; and
WHEREAS, additional services have been required, necessitating Amendment No. 2 to
the original agreement, with the additional specified amount of $1,830.00; and
WHEREAS, INVISION Architecture, LLC, has the requisite expertise and familiarity
with the project to effectively perform the necessary additional services; and
WHEREAS, it is considered in the best interest of the City to approve this amendment
and ensure continued progress on the Byrnes Aquatic Center Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with 1NVISION
Architecture, LLC, in the amount of $1,830.00 is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
3. This resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
