RESOLUTION NO. 2024-702
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE
AGREEMENT WITH AECOM OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $24,700.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
COMMERCIAL STREET SKYWALK REPAIR PROJECT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has identified the necessity for repairs and
maintenance to the Commercial Street Skywalk to enhance public safety and maintain essential
infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, AECOM of Waterloo, Iowa, has been identified as a suitable service
provider to carry out the necessary engineering and consultancy services for the Project; and
WHEREAS, a Professional Service Agreement has been formulated with AECOM,
stipulating the scope, terms, and services to be rendered at a cost of $24,700.00; and
WHEREAS, the execution of this agreement has been deemed in the best interests of the
citizens of Waterloo.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The Professional Service Agreement with AECOM of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount
of $24,700.00 for the Commercial Street Skywalk Repair Project is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
3. This resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
