RESOLUTION NO. 2024-703
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE
AGREEMENT WITH HDR ENGINEERING INC., IN AN
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $7,705.00, TO COMPLETE
TRAFFIC STUDIES, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo requires specialized professional services to conduct
comprehensive traffic studies to enhance traffic management and safety; and
WHEREAS, HDR Engineering Inc. has been identified as a qualified firm with the
expertise needed to perform these studies effectively; and
WHEREAS, a Professional Service Agreement has been drafted with HDR Engineering
Inc., detailing the scope, terms, and deliverables, with compensation not exceeding $7,705.00;
and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to proceed with these studies to support
informed transportation planning and development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The Professional Service Agreement with HDR Engineering Inc. in an amount not to
exceed $7,705.00 is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
3. This resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
