RESOLUTION NO. 2024-704
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICE
AGREEMENT WITH AECOM OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $99,300.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS FY 2025 CIPP PHASE
V PROJECT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has identified the need for significant sanitary sewer
improvements as part of the FY 2025 CIPP Phase V Project to enhance the reliability and
efficiency of the city's infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, AECOM of Waterloo, Iowa, is a reputable and experienced engineering
firm capable of undertaking the necessary planning, design, and consultation services required
for these improvements; and
WHEREAS, a Professional Service Agreement has been prepared with AECOM,
detailing the scope of work, timelines, and services to be rendered, at a total contract amount of
$99,300.00; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed beneficial and necessary for the City to proceed with this
agreement to ensure the timely and proficient execution of the sanitary sewer improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The Professional Service Agreement with AECOM of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount
of $99,300.00 for the Sanitary Sewer Improvements FY 2025 CIPP Phase V Project is hereby
approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
3. This resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
