RESOLUTION NO. 2024-668
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CITY OF WATERLOO
ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDED JUNE 30, 2024, AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF
THE REPORT, SUBMISSION TO THE STATE OF IOWA, AND
EXECUTION OF THE DOCUMENT BY THE MAYOR AND
FINANCE DIRECTOR.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has prepared its Annual Financial Report for the
fiscal year ended June 30, 2024, a comprehensive statement of financial performance, including
revenues, expenditures, and other pertinent financial data as required by Iowa law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and considered the Annual Financial Report
and finds it accurately reflects the financial status and activities of the previous fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the proper governance and fiscal accountability of the
City to officially approve said report, authorize its publication, and ensure its submission to the
State of Iowa;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The City of Waterloo Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024,
is hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to publish the Annual Financial Report, and
the Finance Director is authorized to submit the report to the State of Iowa as required by law.
4. The Mayor and Finance Director are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
Annual Financial Report on behalf of the City.
3. This resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
