RESOLUTION NO. 2024-669
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNUAL FINANCIAL
REPORT FOR CITY STREETS, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDED JUNE 30, 2024, AND AUTHORIZING TRANSMITTAL
TO THE IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has prepared the Annual Financial Report for
city streets, detailing the revenues and expenditures related to street construction, maintenance,
and repair for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and considered said report and finds it
accurately reflects the financial transactions related to the city streets; and
WHEREAS, it is a requirement by the Iowa Department of Transportation (IDOT) to
submit an annual report detailing such financial activities to ensure compliance with state
regulations and to secure continued funding assistance.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The Annual Financial Report for city streets for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2024, is
hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk and Finance Director are authorized and directed to submit the
approved report to the Iowa Department of Transportation, in accordance with the IDOT's
submission guidelines and deadlines.
3. This resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of November 2024.
