RESOLUTION NO. 2024-674
A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING ON THE REQUEST BY MARIA E. SCHNEPF TO
REZONE APPROXIMATELY .10 ACRES LOCATED AT 1122
W. 4TH STREET FROM "R-4" MULTIPLE RESIDENCE
DISTRICT TO "R-4, C-Z" CONDITIONAL ZONING DISTRICT
TO ALLOW FOR A RETAIL STORE.
WHEREAS, Maria E. Schnepf has submitted a request to the City of Waterloo, Iowa, to
rezone approximately .10 acres located at 1122 W. 4th Street from "R-4" Multiple Residence
District to "R-4, C-Z" Conditional Zoning District; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the rezoning is to allow for the establishment of a retail store
within the specified location; and
WHEREAS, upon reviewing the request, the City Council has deemed it appropriate to
consider the proposed rezoning and schedule a public hearing to gather public input and assess
the potential impacts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Harold E. Getty Council
Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 2nd day of December 2024, to hold a
public hearing to consider the rezoning request submitted by Maria E. Schnepf for the property
located at 1122 W. 4th Street.
