RESOLUTION NO. 2024-689
A RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY MODERN PAINTING, INC., OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $15,600.00, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE T-HANGAR C EXTERIOR
PAINTING, IDOT FY-23 CSVI PROJECT, CONTRACT NO.
4606.
WHEREAS, Modern Painting, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, has completed the exterior
painting work on T-Hangar C as per the IDOT FY-23 CSVI Project under Contract No. 4606;
and
WHEREAS, the project's total cost amounted to $15,600.00, consistent with the budgeted
and contracted sum; and
WHEREAS, the project has been inspected and reviewed by the relevant City
departments, confirming that the work meets all necessary contract specifications and quality
standards; and
WHEREAS, the completion and acceptance of this work ensure improved facility
maintenance and aesthetic standards for the T-Hangar C at the Waterloo Regional Airport.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The City Council hereby approves the completion of the T-Hangar C Exterior Painting
project conducted by Modern Painting, Inc., certifying that the work is finished to satisfaction
under Contract No. 4606.
2. The final payment of $15,600.00 is authorized, confirming the project's financial closure.
3. This resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
