RESOLUTION NO. 2024-690
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, AND
AUTHORIZING TO PROCEED WITH DEMOLITION AND
SITE CLEARANCE SERVICES, CONTRACT NO. D-2024-10-
02P.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has prepared plans, specifications, and contract
documents for Demolition and Site Clearance Services under Contract No. D-2024-10-02P to
facilitate necessary urban development; and
WHEREAS, opportunities for public bid and contractor engagement have been
performed in accordance with Iowa Code and local ordinances, ensuring transparency and
competition; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the proposed plans, specifications, and
contract documents, finding them in alignment with city goals and standards for quality, safety,
and cost -efficiency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The proposed plans, specifications, and form of contract for Contract No. D-2024-10-
02P are hereby approved, confirming compliance with all applicable design and bidding
protocols.
2. Authorization is hereby granted to proceed with the execution of Demolition and Site
Clearance Services as outlined in the approved documents.
3. This resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
