RESOLUTION GRANTING REQUEST OF PASTOR HELEN
SEENSTER OF KOINONIA MINISTRIES FGB CHURCH
FOR A VARIANCE TO ORDINANCE NO. 3094, NOISE
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Pastor Helen Seenster of Koinonia Ministries FGB
Church is requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on
June 17-18, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in conjunction
with the Youth Summit 2011 - Maximizing the Moment event to be
held at Sullivan Park, including a PA system and live DJ, with
recommendation and approval of Chief of Police, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of the Ordinance
No. 3094, Noise Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, said Pastor Helen Seenster of Koinonia Ministries
FGB Church has made formal application for a variance effective
June 17-18, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the request of Pastor Helen Seenster of
Koinonia Ministries FGB Church for a variance to Ordinance No.
3094, Noise Ordinance, on June 17-18, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to
2:00 p.m., in conjunction with the Youth Summit 2011 - Maximizing
the Moment event to be held at Sullivan Park, including a PA
system and live DJ, be and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of June, 2011.
