RESOLUTION NO. 2011-493
RESOLUTION APPROVING BROWNFIELD PROJECT
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT WITH IOWA
DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND
DIRECTING EXECUTION OF SAID AGREEMENT BY
MAYOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA,
that the Brownfield Project Financial Assistance Agreement dated
June 6, 2011, for a $43,525.00 forgivable loan, for asbestos
testing and removal of the former Grancis Grout School building,
by and between Iowa Department of Economic Development of Des
Moines, Iowa and the City of Waterloo, Iowa, be and the same is
hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk authorized to
execute the same in behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
