RESOLUTION NO. 2024-736 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CITY OF WATERLOO MUNICIPAL GOLF RATE FEE SCHEDULE FOR THE 2025 SEASON. WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo operates municipal golf facilities that serve as valuable recreational resources for residents and visitors; and WHEREAS, periodic review and adjustment of golf rates and fees are essential to ensure the financial sustainability and quality maintenance of these facilities; and WHEREAS, the proposed 2025 Golf Rate Fee Schedule has been evaluated and recommended by the Leisure Services Department to reflect current market conditions, operating costs, and community needs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as follows: 1. The City of Waterloo Municipal Golf Rate Fee Schedule for the 2025 Season is hereby approved. The Leisure Services Department is authorized to implement the new fee schedule, ensure it is accurately reflected in all promotional materials, and communicate the changes to the public and stakeholders in a timely manner 3. The approved rates are subject to review annually and may be adjusted by the City Council to meet operational needs and community expectations. 4. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and approval by the City Council. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of December 2024.
