RESOLUTION NO. 2024-755
RESOLUTION APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT WITH IOWA HEARTLAND HABITAT FOR
HUMANITY FOR REHABILITATING ONE SINGLE-FAMILY
HOME LOCATED AT 408 VERMONT STREET, WITH A
TOTAL OF $5,000.00 INFILL HOUSING GRANT, AND A
GRANT OF UP TO $16,885.00 TO COVER THE COSTS OF
ASBESTOS MITIGATION AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA
AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Development Agreement dated December 16, 2024, between Iowa Heartland
Habitat for Humanity and the City of Waterloo, Iowa,with a total of$5,000.00 Infill Housing
Grant, and a grant of up to $16,885.00 to cover the costs of asbestos mitigation, is hereby
approved.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of December 2024.
