RESOLUTION NO. 2011-550
RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REQUEST OF ROSS AND
KATHRYN JONES FOR A SITE PLAN AMENDMENT TO
THE "C -1,C -Z" CONDITIONAL ZONING DISTRICT TO
ALLOW FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A GRINDING
SHOP AND COMPUTER OFFICE IN THE EXISTING
BUILDING LOCATED AT 700 WEST PARKER STREET IN
THE CITY OF WATERLOO, BLACK HAWK COUNTY,
IOWA.
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the Council of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa, approve a site plan amendment to the "C -1,C -Z"
Conditional Zoning District to allow for the establishment of a
grinding shop and computer office in the existing building
located at 700 West Parker Street, legally described as follows:
Lots 1 and 2 in Block 1, in Rosebud Addition in the
City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County, Iowa.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on June 20, 2011, at 5:30
p.m., at City Hall Council Chambers, Waterloo, Iowa, as provided
by law, by the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, on the
proposal to approve said above mentioned site plan amendment, and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of this Council that said site
plan amendment should be approved as proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO, IOWA, that a site plan amendment to the "C -1,C -
Z" Conditional Zoning District to allow for the establishment of
a grinding shop and computer office in the existing building
located at 700 West Parker Street, be and the same is hereby
approved.
