RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF GENE
MEYER TO REZONE FROM "A-1" AGRICULTURAL
DISTRICT TO "R -R" RURAL RESIDENCE DISTRICT
APPROXIMATELY 12.12 ACRES GENERALLY LOCATED
AT 3545, 3555 AND 3655 RANCHERO ROAD, AS
JULY 11, 2011, AT 5:30 P.M. IN THE COUNCIL
CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL, AND INSTRUCTING CITY
CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 11th day of July, 2011, for
the purpose of considering and acting upon an application of Gene
Meyer to rezone from "A-1" Agricultural District to "R -R" Rural
Residence District approximately 12.12 acres generally located at
3545, 3555 and 3655 Ranchero Road, and legally described as
follows:
That part of the Northwest Quarter and the Northeast
Quarter of Section 12, Township 88 North, Range 14 West
of the 5th P.M., Black Hawk County, Iowa, described as
follows:
The East One Thousand, Three Hundred and Thirty (1330)
feet of North Four Hundred and Three (403) feet of the
Northwest Quarter of said Section No. Twelve; and the
West Ninety-six and Sixty-nine hundredths (96.69) feet
of the North Four Hundred and Three (403) feet of the
Northeast Quarter of said Section, containing 12.12
acres, exclusive of present established road right-of-
way, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk County,
Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
