RESOLUTION NO. 2016-362
REQUEST OF DOUG AND MIKE MOORE FOR VARIANCE TO
NOISE ORDINANCE ON SEPTEMBER 24, 2016 FROM 6:00 P.M. TO
10:00 P.M. IN CONJUNCTION WITH DOUG AND PAULA'S
BIRTHDAY EVENT TO BE HELD AT 2732 PRESCOTTS DRIVE,
INCLUDING MUSIC -AND A PA SYSTEM, TOGETHER WITH
RECOMMENDATION OF APPROVAL OF DIRECTOR OF SAFETY
SERVICES.
WHEREAS, Doug and Mike Moore are requesting a variance to the Noise Ordinance on
September 24, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., in conjunction with Doug and Paula's
Birthday event to be held at 2732 Prescotts Drive, including music and a PA system, and
WHEREAS, said event will exceed the limits of Ordinance No. 3094,Noise Ordinance,
and
WHEREAS, said Doug and Mike Moore are requesting a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on September 24, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.,together with recommendation
and approval of the Director of Safety Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA,that the request of Doug and Mike Moore for a variance to the Noise
Ordinance on September 24, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., in conjunction with Doug and
Paula's Birthdayevent to be held at 2732
Prescotts Drive, including music and a PA system, be
and the same hereby granted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of May, 2016.
