RESOLUTION NO. 2025-026
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH AECOM TECHNICAL SERVICES, INC.,
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $425,900.00,
IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE REHABILITATE RUNWAY
18/36 PROJECT, FAA AIP 3-19-0094-0XX-2025, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, a Professional Service Agreement has been prepared with AECOM
Technical Services, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of $425,900.00, in conjunction with
the Rehabilitate Runway 18/36 Project, FAA AIP 3-19-0094-0XX-2025; and
WHEREAS, AECOM of Waterloo, Iowa, is a reputable and experienced engineering
firm capable of undertaking the necessary planning, design, and consultation services required
for these improvements; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed beneficial and necessary for the City to proceed with this
agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The Professional Service Agreement has been prepared with AECOM Technical
Services, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of $425,900.00, in conjunction with the
Rehabilitate Runway 18/36 Project, FAA AIP 3-19-0094-0XX-2025, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of
Waterloo, Iowa.
