SELECTIVE DEMOLITION • Remove and dispose of loose and/or damaged metal flashing, blocking and sheathing from the area below the aluminum framing as noted for skywalk repair in the drawings. • Remove and dispose damaged areas of plaster and sheathing to existing control joints. ROUGH CARPENTRY • Replace damaged framing, blocking, and nailers per detail 1/2 on sheet A200 in the area below the aluminum framing as noted for skywalk repair in the drawings. • Provide and install temporary plywood on horizontal and vertical surfaces below the aluminum framing and horizontal areas under the skywalk to eliminate safety concerns and allow for Commercial Street traffic. GLAZING • Remove and reset up to four (4) existing aluminum -framed storefront sections per side and replace missing fascia pieces. • Warranties on reinstalled glass are excluded. PHASE 1 CONSTRUCTION TOTAL $18,981.00 NOTES AND CLARIFICATION • Proposed work is based on drawings provided by AECOM (Project Number 60743948). • Sales tax is excluded. PLASTER ASSEMBLIES • Provide and install cement board, sub framing, and mesh under the skywalk to existing control joints where previously damaged. • Plaster new cement board to match adjacent surfaces (prior to painting). SHEET METAL FLASHING AND TRIM • Provide and install new 3-piece metal fascia below the aluminum framing in areas of skywalk repair to match adjacent areas. PAINTING • Prepare and paint new and existing plaster under the entire skywalk (required for all paint to match). • Prepare and paint new and existing sheet metal flashing below the aluminum framing on the entire skywalk (required for all metal to match). All other infill and flashing by others. Lift machine by others. Any other glass and framing that needs taken out will be at an additional cost. There will be no warranties on existing glass or framing. Lindgren Glass will not be liable for any broken or damaged material from removal.
