RESOLUTION NO. 2025-029
A RESOLUTION SETTING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING AS
FEBRUARY 3, 2025, FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE FISCAL
YEAR ENDING (FYE) 2025 BUDGET AND DIRECTING THE
CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, it is necessary to consider amendments to the FYE 2025 budget to ensure
the financial operations of the City align with current needs and projections; and
WHEREAS, public input is essential to the budget amendment process, and thus a public
hearing is required to discuss these amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa:
1. The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Harold E. Getty Council
Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd day of February 2025, for the
purpose of considering an amendment to the FYE 2025 budget.
2. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to publish the required notice of the public
hearing as required by law.
3. This resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21' day of January 2025.
