RESOLUTION NO. 2025-030
A RESOLUTION RESETTING THE DATE OF PUBLIC
HEARING TO REVIEW THE PROPOSED FUNDING
RECOMMENDATION SET FORTH BY THE HOUSING
AUTHORITY BOARD FOR THE FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL
FUNDS ACTION PLAN FOR FY 2024-2028, AND
INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATERLOO,
IOWA, AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority Board has developed a proposed funding
recommendation for the Five -Year Capital Funds Action Plan for FY 2024-2028, targeting
essential maintenance and improvements at Ridgeway Towers; and
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to conduct a public hearing to review and discuss
this proposal to ensure transparency and community involvement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo,
Iowa:
1. The Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall meet in the Harold E. Getty Council
Chambers at City Hall, Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd day of February 2025, for the
purpose of funding recommendations set forth by the Housing Authority Board for the Five -Year
Capital Funds Action Plan for the FY 2024-2028.
2. That the City Clerk is hereby instructed to publish the required notice of the public
hearing as required by law.
3. This resolution shall take effect upon its passage and approval.
