RESOLUTION NO. 2025-035
A RESOLUTION APPROVING COMPLETION OF PROJECT
AND RECOMMENDATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF WORK
FOR WORK PERFORMED BY WRH, INC., OF AMANA,
IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $3,688,883.04, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE FY 2023 SANITARY SEWER
GATEWELL REPAIRS PHASE II, CONTRACT NO. 1071, AND
RECEIVE AND FILE A TWO-YEAR MAINTENANCE BOND.
WHEREAS, WRH, Inc., of Amana, Iowa, has successfully completed the work under
Contract No. 1071 for the FY 2023 Sanitary Sewer Gatewell Repairs Phase II project; and
WHEREAS, the project was executed diligently and according to the contract
specifications to the satisfaction of the City of Waterloo; and
WHEREAS, a two-year maintenance bond has been provided to ensure the longevity and
quality of the repairs completed by WRH, Inc.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. That the completion of the work by WRH, Inc., under Contract No. 1071 for the FY
2023 Sanitary Sewer Gatewell Repairs Phase II, in the amount of $3,688,883.04, is hereby
approved.
2. That the City Council hereby accepts the work performed by WRH, Inc., as complete
and satisfactory.
3. That the two-year maintenance bond provided by WRH, Inc., is hereby received and
filed, providing assurance for future maintenance and quality assurance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of January 2025.
