RESOLUTION NO. 2025-038 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A REQUEST BY ROBSON HOMES INC. FOR THE FINAL PLAT OF PRAIRIE MEADOW ESTATES FIRST ADDITION, A 49-LOT RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION IN THE "R-3" MULTIPLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT LOCATED EAST OF OMAHA AVENUE. WHEREAS, Robson Homes Inc. has submitted a request for approval of the Final Plat for Prairie Meadow Estates First Addition; and WHEREAS, the proposed development consists of a 49-lot residential subdivision located in the "R-3" Multiple Residence District, east of Omaha Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Final Plat has been reviewed and recommended for approval by the Planning and Zoning Commission, ensuring compliance with the City of Waterloo's zoning and subdivision ordinances; and WHEREAS, the final plat commits to providing necessary infrastructure improvements and adheres to all engineering considerations for residential development thereby fostering community growth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as follows: 1. The request by Robson Homes Inc. for the approval of the Final Plat of Prairie Meadow Estates First Addition is hereby approved. 2. The development shall comply with all conditions set forth in the planning and zoning staff report and any other conditions agreed upon by the developer and the city, ensuring alignment with the city's comprehensive plan. 3. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of January 2025.
