RESOLUTION NO. 2025-040
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A TEMPORARY
CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT AGREEMENT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $6,500.00 WITH THE ELEVENTH AND
SYCAMORE CONDO ASSOCIATION, IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE 11 TH STREET BRIDGE RECONSTRUCTION
PROJECT, LOCATED AT 110-120 E. 11TH STREET AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR, AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Waterloo is engaged in the llth Street Bridge
Reconstruction Project, which necessitates the acquisition of a temporary construction easement
to facilitate construction activities; and
WHEREAS, the Eleventh and Sycamore Condo Association, owners of the property
located at 110-120 E. 11th Street, have agreed to grant a temporary construction easement to the
City for the agreed -upon amount of $6,500.00; and
WHEREAS, this temporary construction easement is essential for ensuring the safe and
efficient execution of the bridge reconstruction project, thereby enhancing infrastructure and
public safety;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The Temporary Construction Easement Agreement with The Eleventh and Sycamore
Condo Association, in the amount of $6,500.00, is hereby approved.
2. Payment shall be made to The Eleventh and Sycamore Condo Association upon the
execution of said agreement in accordance with its terms.
3. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
