RESOLUTION NO. 2025-046
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH INVISION ARCHITECTURE, LLC IN
THE AMOUNT OF $420,000.00 TO PERFORM
ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES, ALONG WITH
MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL/PLUMBING AND
TECHNOLOGY DESIGN FOR THE RENOVATION OF 100
EAST 4TH STREET FOR THE RELOCATION OF CITY HALL,
AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo intends to renovate the property located at 100 East 4th
Street to facilitate the relocation of City Hall, thereby enhancing the efficiency and accessibility
of municipal operations; and
WHEREAS, INVISION Architecture, LLC, possesses the requisite expertise to provide
comprehensive architectural services, along with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and
technology design, necessary for the planned renovation; and
WHEREAS, the proposed agreement with INVISION Architecture, LLC, is for a total
amount of $420,000.00, offering strategic alignment with city objectives and ensuring
professional oversight of the renovation project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The Professional Services Agreement with INVISION Architecture, LLC, in the
amount of $420,000.00 is hereby approved, authorizing the provision of architectural and
associated engineering services for the renovation of 100 East 4th Street.
2. This engagement will ensure a well -coordinated approach to the infrastructure
enhancements needed for facilitating the relocation of City Hall, optimizing both functionality
and community impact.
3. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute said documents on behalf of the City
of Waterloo, Iowa.
