RESOLUTION NO. 2025-048
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH EOCENE ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP,
OF JOHNSTON, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $39,920.00, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH PROJECT BLACKOUT, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is undertaking Project Blackout, which necessitates
specialized environmental services to ensure project objectives are achieved in compliance with
regulatory standards; and
WHEREAS, Eocene Environmental Group, of Johnston, Iowa, has the required expertise
and experience to provide the necessary services, contributing to the project's success and
environmental stewardship; and
WHEREAS, the professional services agreement, totaling $39,920.00, outlines the scope
of work and deliverables aligned with the city's project and fiscal requirements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The Professional Services Agreement with Eocene Environmental Group, in the
amount of $39,920.00, is hereby approved for Project Blackout.
2. Execution of this agreement secures expert environmental consulting for Project
Blackout, promoting adherence to best practices and regulatory compliance throughout the
project lifecycle.
3. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
