RESOLUTION NO. 2025-079
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING APPROVAL OF PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS, FORM OF CONTRACT, AND
AUTHORIZATION TO PROCEED WITH THE DEMOLITION
AND SITE CLEARANCE SERVICES, CONTRACT NO. D-
2025-01-03P.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo has developed plans, specifications, and a form of
contract for the Demolition and Site Clearance Services, Contract No. D-2025-01-03P; and
WHEREAS, these services are critical for the enhancement of community safety,
redevelopment opportunities, and aesthetic improvements within designated project areas; and
WHEREAS, public notice has been provided, fulfilling the requirements necessary for
transparency and public input, and allowing for comprehensive consideration of the project
details; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has carefully reviewed the proposed plans, specifications,
and contract details, ensuring they meet all necessary standards and community expectations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The plans, specifications, and form of contract for Contract No. D-2025-01-03P
pertaining to Demolition and Site Clearance Services are hereby confirmed and approved.
2. The City Council authorizes the commencement of the Demolition and Site Clearance
Services, permitting the involved departments and contractors to proceed according to the
approved plans and contractual conditions.
3. All project activities shall conform to state and local regulations, with regular updates
provided to the City Council regarding progress.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of February 2025.
