RESOLUTION NO. 2025-084
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH AECOM TECHNICAL SERVICES, INC.,
OF WATERLOO, IOWA, IN THE AMOUNT OF $97,600.00, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH THE AIRFIELD PAVEMENT
MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM PROJECT, FAA
AIP GRANT NO. 3-19-009-058-2025, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, recognizes the importance
of maintaining the airfield pavement conditions to ensure safety and efficiency at the Waterloo
Municipal Airport; and
WHEREAS, the Airfield Pavement Maintenance Management System Project is an
essential component funded under FAA AIP Grant No. 3-19-0094-025-2025; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary to engage professional services to effectively plan,
design, and manage the Airfield Pavement Maintenance System, and AECOM Technical
Services, Inc., of Waterloo, Iowa, has been identified as a qualified provider for these services;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and hereby approves the Professional
Services Agreement with AECOM Technical Services, Inc., in the amount of $97,600.00, to
furnish necessary services for the aforementioned project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The Professional Services Agreement with AECOM Technical Services, Inc., of
Waterloo, Iowa, in the amount of $97,600.00, is hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
