RESOLUTION NO. 2025-088
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A REQUEST BY THE CITY OF
WATERLOO FOR THE CORRECTIVE FINAL PLAT OF
NORTH CROSSING FOURTH ADDITION AND A FIRST
AMENDMENT TO THE OWNER'S STATEMENT AND DEED
OF DEDICATION, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, has received a request for
approval of the corrective Final Plat of North Crossing Fourth Addition, aiming to rectify
discrepancies identified in the previously recorded plat; and
WHEREAS, a First Amendment to the Owner's Statement and Deed of Dedication is
necessary and integral to address these corrections, ensuring compliance with municipal
regulations and facilitating the proper development and use of the property; and
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo recognizes the importance of maintaining clear and
accurate land records to uphold orderly growth and ensure legal descriptions align with field
conditions; and
WHEREAS, the corrective measures in the Final Plat and the corresponding Amendment
have been reviewed and are in accordance with city planning and zoning requirements, meriting
approval from the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The corrective Final Plat of North Crossing Fourth Addition and the First Amendment
to the Owner's Statement and Deed of Dedication are hereby approved.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
