RESOLUTION NO. 2025-089
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH AECOM TECHNICAL SERVICES, IN
AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $25,000.00, TO PERFORM
ON -CALL GENERAL PLANNING AND ENGINEERING
SERVICES FOR FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION
AIRSPACE AND PROPERTY RELEASES, PROJECT
COORDINATION AND SURVEYING AND PLATTING,
ADJACENT TO THE WATERLOO REGIONAL AIRPORT,
LOCATED AT 2790 LIVINGSTON LANE, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, recognizes the necessity of
engaging expert services to manage Federal Aviation Administration airspace and property
releases, project coordination, as well as surveying and platting adjacent to the Waterloo
Regional Airport; and
WHEREAS, these services are crucial for ensuring the compliance and efficient
operation of the airport facilities for supporting future expansions and improvements; and
WHEREAS, AECOM Technical Services, a reputable firm, has been selected to provide
on -call general planning and engineering services with a professional services agreement valued
at an amount not to exceed $25,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and approves this agreement to facilitate
ongoing and future needs related to airport operations and development;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. The Professional Services Agreement with AECOM Technical Services, in an amount
not to exceed $25,000.00, is hereby approved for the aforementioned services adjacent to the
Waterloo Regional Airport.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents on
behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
