COUNCIL WORK SESSION

Roll Call
Members present: Mayor Quentin Hart in the Chair. Mr. Boesen, Mr. Nichols, Mr. Simon and
Mr. Feuss. Ms. Creighton -Smith, Mr. Chiles and Ms. Wilder were absent.

that the agenda as proposed be approved. Voice vote -Ayes: Four. Motion carried.
Approval of Minutes of the January 6, 2025 Work Session, as proposed or amended.

Discussion of the FY2024 audit.
Bridgett wood introduced Dustin Opatz, BergenKDV, who will be giving a presentation on the
FY24 audit results.
Mayor Hart and Council Members discussed the audit with Mr. Opatz.
Discussion of a Park Avenue Bridge memorial installation.
Wayne Castle, Assistant City Engineer, introduced Dan Fullerton, Stanley Consultants and
Mark Kuiper, Ritland+Kuiper who will be sharing about the Park Avenue Bridge Historical
Marker. Wayne Castle provided historical background on the Park Avenue Bridge and how this
project developed to where we are today.
Dan Fullerton shared that Stanley Consultants is the consulting engineering firm working with
Invision Architecture and Ritland+Kuiper. He shared a presentation on the project details.
Construction is anticipated to be completed in Late Fall 2025 with a construction cost estimate
of $172,000.00.
Mark Kuiper, Ritland+Kuiper, shared conceptual images and noted that the design of the plaza
is very similar to all of the overlooks that were done on the River Renaissance project.
Mayor Hart and Council Members discussed the project with Wayne Castle, Dan Fullerton and
Mark Kuiper.
