RESOLUTION NO. 2025-109
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A DEVELOPMENT
AGREEMENT WITH E1C ENTERPRISES, LLC AND
NORTHEAST IOWA FOOD BANK, INC. FOR THE
RELOCATION OF TWO HOMES, WITH A TOTAL OF
$20,000.00 INFILL HOUSING GRANT AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, EIC Enterprises, LLC, and Northeast Iowa Food Bank, Inc. are seeking to
enter into a development agreement with the City for the relocation and revitalization of two
homes within the city limits; and
WHEREAS, the City has identified this project as beneficial to the community's urban
development and housing initiatives, and has offered a total of$20,000.00 as an infill housing
grant to support the project; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of the development agreement have been reviewed
and negotiated to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. That the Development Agreement with EIC Enterprises, LLC, and Northeast Iowa
Food Bank, Inc., is hereby approved, including the provision of a $20,000.00 infill housing
grant.
2. The Community Planning and Development Director is instructed to facilitate the
implementation and monitoring of the agreement terms to ensure compliance and successful
project execution.
2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said documents
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17`" day of February 2025.
