RESOLUTION NO. 2025-112
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SOFTWARE
AGREEMENT WITH DOCUPET, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$3,995.00, IN CONJUNCTION WITH PET LICENSING
SERVICES, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo recognizes the importance of streamlining and
optimizing its pet licensing services to better serve the community and manage pet information
efficiently; and
WHEREAS, Docupet provides a comprehensive software solution that enhances the
management and facilitation of pet licenses, including online registrations and renewals; and
WHEREAS, a software agreement between the City of Waterloo and Docupet has been
proposed in the amount of $3,995.00 to implement this solution; and
WHEREAS, the terms of the agreement have been reviewed, found to be satisfactory,
and in alignment with the City's operational needs and budgetary considerations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. That the software agreement with Docupet, in the amount of $3,995.00, is hereby
approved to enhance the pet licensing services within the City.
2. That the funds for this agreement shall be allocated from the designated budget for
technology upgrades within the City's animal control services.
3. That appropriate city officials are instructed to oversee the implementation and
integration of the Docupet software into the City's existing systems to ensure a smooth transition
and operation.
4. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
