RESOLUTION NO. 2025-113
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH TYLER TECHNOLOGIES, IN
AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $3,510.00, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH IMPLEMENTATION AND TRAINING
OF THE NEW WORLD PURCHASE ORDER MODULE, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID
DOCUMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo is committed to improving its financial management
systems through the implementation of advanced technology solutions; and
WHEREAS, Tyler Technologies provides the New World Purchase Order Module, which
offers enhanced capabilities for managing city purchase orders efficiently and effectively; and
WHEREAS, the City of Waterloo seeks to enter into a Professional Services Agreement
with Tyler Technologies for the implementation and training necessary to integrate this module,
at a cost not to exceed $3,510.00; and
WHEREAS, the terms of the agreement have been negotiated to ensure compliance with
the City's operational needs and fiscal responsibilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Waterloo as
follows:
1. That the Professional Services Agreement with Tyler Technologies, in an amount not
to exceed $3,510.00, is hereby approved for the implementation and training associated with the
New World Purchase Order Module.
2. That funding for this agreement shall be allocated as part of the City's ongoing
technology upgrade initiatives.
3. That the Public Work Division Manager is directed to coordinate with Tyler
Technologies to ensure timely and effective implementation and training, fostering successful
integration into the City's financial management processes.
4. That the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized and directed to execute said document
on behalf of the City of Waterloo, Iowa.
