RESOLUTION FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF
HEARING TO BE GIVEN ON APPLICATION OF THE
CITY OF WATERLOO TO REZONE FROM "R-2" ONE AND
TWO FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO "R -1,R -P"
PLANNED RESIDENCE DISTRICT APPROXIMATELY 1.14
ACRES GENERALLY LOCATED AT THE FORMER FRANCIS
GROUT SCHOOL SITE AT 330 MADISON STREET AT
THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF IDAHO STREET AND
MADISON STREET AS MARCH 28, 2011, AT 5:30
P.M. IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS IN CITY HALL AND
INSTRUCTING CITY CLERK TO PUBLISH NOTICE OF
HEARING.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Waterloo, Iowa, shall
meet in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of
Waterloo, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. on the 28th day of March, 2011, for
the purpose of acting upon an application of the City of Waterloo
to rezone from "R-2" One and Two Family Residence District to "R -
1,R -P" Planned Residence District approximately 1.14 acres
generally located at the former Francis Grout School site at 330
Madison Street at the southwest corner of Idaho Street and
Madison Street, and legally described as follows:
Lots 1 thru 4, and 15 thru 18 in Block 6 in Hillside
Addition, all in the City of Waterloo, Black Hawk
County, Iowa.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WATERLOO, IOWA, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish
Notice of the time and place of said hearing in the Waterloo
Courier.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of March, 2011.
